Mandate Management of Raw Water Resources and River Systems that are drained by Save river down stream to the west, i.e Musaizi, Mukore, Mujiche, Rozva, Turwi and Mkwasine rivers. Area of jurisdiction The SCC area covers mainly Bikita district, part of Zaka and part of Chiredzi districts. What is a Sub Catchment Council, A State /Government depart in the (MEWC), body corporate of members (stakeholder representatives) who are elected from stakeholders affected, involved and interested in river systems and underground RAW water resources within the Sub catchment area. The stakeholders can be individuals, groups, farmers, industry or institutions and Government. The full council body has 15 elected members, led by a Chairperson and Vice Chair.
